My coaching career with German and Chinese managers from multinational companies began over ten years ago. International management has since become one of my greatest passions and a key focus in my coaching. How do I live and work successfully in a different culture? How do I lead a team, a project abroad, an intercultural team?

How do I make important contacts? How do I communicate with the media in China or the USA? I had to figure all these questions out for myself over two decades of living and working abroad. Speaking Chinese for everyday communication helped me in China. But that wasn't enough.

One of my discoveries: Culture is a language in its own right, and mastering it is crucial for success. Even if both conversation partners from different cultures speak perfect English, the understanding of what is said often differs without an understanding of the culture. This frequently leads to major conflicts in teams, projects, and business dealings.

In my coaching program, I integrate my diverse experiences as a lawyer, entrepreneur, journalist, and PR consultant, as well as my international expertise from Shanghai, New York, and London. My focus is never solely on observable cultural behavior, but always on a deep understanding of a culture.
