Jörg Middendorf from the Office for Coaching and Organizational Consulting (BCO) in Cologne summarizes the development of the coaching market in his long-term study as follows: While an external coach received an average of 2006 orders per year in Germany in 17,1, the number in 2010 is already growing 24,4 orders per year. In 2016, this value rose again significantly and reached an average of 29,5 annual assignments (coaching survey 2016/2017). According to the 2017/2017 coaching survey, a coaching assignment in 2018 lasted an average of 12,3 hours. With an hourly rate of around €120-140 per hour in 2016/2017, it is easy to calculate to what extent the coaching profession offers financial added value.

• Completed studies (university/FH) with at least five years of professional experience
